What is Electrolysis?
Electrolysis is the PERMANENT removal of unwanted hair. It is accomplished by inserting a fine, sterile filament into the natural hair follicle of the skin. Electrical current is administered into the hair follicle via this filament. The hair-nourishing cells are permanently destroyed by the action of the electrical current.

Is Electrolysis Painful?
This depends on the individual’s level of sensitivity. Some sensation is to be expected.

How Many Treatments are Required?
The number of treatments depends on each individual. The texture and density of hair, the amount of moisture in the skin, and the hair growth cycle impact the number of treatments.

Will the Hair Re-grow When I Am Done With My Treatments?
No, Electrolysis is PERMANENT hair removal. Once a hair is permanently removed it cannot ever re-grow. Re-growth is often confused with new hairs growing out of separate follicles as a result of hormonal changes.

Why do I have Excess Hair?
Some of the common causes of excessive hair growth are endocrine imbalances, hormonal imbalances, medications, genetics and stress.

Will My Treatments Be Confidential?
Your treatments will be treated with the utmost privacy throughout and after your treatments.

Do You Have Physician Referrals?
Yes, please call for referrals.

Can Any Area of the Body Be Treated?
In the state of California any area of the body can be treated with the exception of inside the nose and inside the ears. Hair can be removed from a mole with a Physician’s written approval.

Do You Offer a Consultation?
Yes, a complimentary consultation is offered which includes a demonstration of the treatment.

What Method of Sterilization Do You Use?
The filaments that are inserted into the hair follicle are purchased pre-sterilized in a sealed plastic bubble.
